    CU and TU Bag Top Positions at Business Triathlon 2020 Project

    Teams from Chulalongkorn University and Thammasat University come out as winners at the Business Triathlon 2020 Project.

    Co-organized by Chulalongkorn University’s Sasin Graduate Institute of Business Administration, Charoen Pokphand Foods (CPF), Singha Corporation and Tesco Lotus, the Business Triathlon 2020 is a competition for undergraduate students from across the country to develop strategic plans to analyze and solve real business cases.

    The Business Triathlon 2020 winners for each business case included:
    -Charoen Pokphand Foods (CPF): Faculty of Engineering, CU
    -Singha Corporation: Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, TU
    -Tesco Lotus: Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, CU

    The 1st and 2nd runners-up for the CPF’s business case were the teams ‘Extrema’ and ‘CAPE’, both from Thammasat University. For Singha Corporation’s business case, ‘Dumpling Consulting’ team from Chulalongkorn University and ‘No Brand’ team from Thammasat University were the 1st and 2nd runners-up. The ‘Marmalade’ Team and ‘Acestasy’ team from Chulalongkorn University took the 1st and 2nd runner-up positions for the Tesco Lotus’s business case.

    The final-round competition was streamed online on April 24, 2020, where the teams presented their project plans to a panel of company executive judges.

    The judges from CPF included Mr. Chaiyuth Tipsuwanporn (Senior Vice President – Retail Business), Mr. Pote Sakunthavorn (Vice President – Commercial) and Mr. Kris Kongthanadarakorn (Vice President – Talent Attraction and Acquisition).

    From Singha Corporation, the judges were Mr. Cholawit Sukudom (Managing Director Group of Knowledge and Development, Boonrawd Brewery), Mr. Paisan Chitrekarn (Managing Director, EST. Company (1933)), and Mr. Vorapat Chavananikul (Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Boonrawd Trading).
