    Thammasat University Introduces “MUVMI”, a Three Wheeled Electric Vehicle Ride-Sharing Service

    Thammasat University together with private companies provides a three-wheeled 100% electric vehicle ride-sharing service, a new way to get around Tha Prachan campus available today

    On September 17, 2020, Thammasat University led by Assoc. Prof.Gasinee Witoonchart, Banpu Next Green Leasing Co. Ltd., and Urban Mobility Tech Co. Ltd. signed in a term of service for three-wheeled electric vehicle ride-sharing service, and the application “MuvMi” at Thammasat University (Tha Prachan campus) bringing the Smart Mobility technology and innovation.

    Students, staff, and the general public can book a ride through application MuvMi and travel around the campus, and the commercial area around the university.

    The vehicles used in the project are 100% electric, which is clean energy helping to reduce exhaust fume. The service is available today onward from 07.00-20.00 (might be adjusted according to the situation) and the vehicle charging station is at the basement parking lot (B3).

    Assoc. Prof.Gasinee said that term of service for three-wheeled electric vehicle ride-sharing service, and the application “MuvMi” at Thammasat University (Tha Prachan campus) is aiming to increase the mobility (Smart Mobility), safety, and introducing a convenient means of transportation by 100% electric vehicles for staff, students and the general public.

    Thammasat will continue to be a model for the society in sustainably saving the environment using technology and innovation available today for an effective result.
