South Ural State University Students Will Receive Half a Million Rubles from Coca-Cola HBC Russia

More than 100 students and postgraduates participated in a contest for grants and scholarships offered by the company Coca-Cola HBC Russia and South Ural State University. The participants completed assignments in several rounds and developed business projects for popularizing one of the company’s products.

20 student teams took part in intellectual and sports contests. The winners thought up and developed a Coca-Cola limited collection “For Him and for Her”. They earned scholarships of 15,000 to 40,000 rubles.

“This is not our first year to participate, but this is the first time we won. Such contests really motivate for the future personal growth, and it’s possible that we’ll take part in one of the company’s other projects – a program for intern managers. It was really interesting for us to develop such business projects. Some members of the jury said that our work can be even implemented right away,” says member of the winning team Valeria Shestakova.

Over 11 years of partnership between SUSU and the company Coca-Cola HBC Russia, 165 of the best students and postgraduates from SUSU earned scholarships and grants from Coca-Cola HBC Russia, and 48 more people went to other countries for language training.

“This contest doesn’t just show the potential of the participants – the best students and postgraduates from South Ural State University, but also gives them a chance to see real business cases and projects for promoting products,” notes Marina Mokina, Regional Manager of the Internal and External Communications Office for Coca-Cola HBC Russia in the Ural Region, Siberia and the Far East Region.
