Ms. Alua Aimagambetova, a student of Albukhary International University (AIU) has won the award for the Best Delegate of United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) at the 3rd Asia World Model United Nations (AWMUN) which was held in South Jakarta from 13 to 16 November 2019 in Bali, Republic of Indonesia.
Alua who is from Kazakhstan was selected on account of her academic achievements, extra- and co-curricular activities, previous participation, and responses to a series of questions.
AWMUN III 2019 carries the theme of the Implementation of World’s Agenda 2030, which aims to facilitate young leaders from different places to broaden their networks and to provide a platform to share their perspectives, particularly on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that will be discussed in each council.
