    Thammasat University Signs MOU to Build Collaboration in Elder Research and Development

    The National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), Assistive Technology and Medical Devices Research Center (A-MED), Chulabhorn International College of Medicine: Thammasat University, and Department of Medical Services, Institute of Geriatric Medicine signed MOU. Dr.Narong Sirilertworakul, Director of NSTDA, Prof.Dr.Ph.D.Adit Tassanarong, President of Chulabhorn International College of Medicine: Thammasat University, and Ph.D.Sakarn Bunnak, Director of Institute of Geriatric Medicine, Department of Medical Services have signed MOU to build collaboration in elder research and development. The purpose is to develop innovation for elders, healthcare research for elders, mutually exchange knowledge and resources and support international convention and academic conferences under the topic of domestic and international elder people.

    Apart from the signing ceremony, “International Conference on Innovation for Aging Society” will be held on 20-22 August 2020 at Puey centenary hall and park, Thammasat University, Rangsit campus. The main objective is to display academic work and publish innovation which will lead to translation research and innovation and create a holistic knowledge network for elders. There will be experienced lecturers and experts from domestic and international. We estimate that there will be more than 500 participants. It will create a chance to exchange knowledge, vision, and experience between scholars, researchers, professors, and students. It will lead to the expansion of academic networks domestically and internationally. This international conference will present academic work and research. The purpose is to encourage the creation of work and research for elders which will support the entering of an aging society in Thailand.
