President University continues to prove its existence in the international education world by establishing a partnership with Finland University, Finland. The memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed by both parties on 25 November 2019 in Jakarta. The partnership covers the field of promotion of partnerships activities, education, research, and community service.
The signing was carried out by the Head of the President University Partnerships Bureau Marissa Astika, B. Sc., MBA. and the Key Account Manager of Finland University Mari Argillander, also was witnessed by the lecturer of Electrical Engineering President University Ir. Adhi Widjaja, M.Sc., Key Account Manager of Finland University Niina Nyyssölä, University of Helsinki representative Nina Sajaniemi, and CEO Sinergi Finlandia Indonesia Devi Rizal, MBA., M.Eng.
In addition, the two also exchanged information about the education system applied in each country and deepened discussions about the possibility of collaboration that could be carried out by both universities. Responding to the establishment of this collaboration, Marissa revealed, “This collaboration is a very good thing to do because we can learn from each other and develop research, for now, the biggest possibility is research collaboration between lecturers from both universities as the implementation of the partnerships.”
