    PNU is part of the first Saudi women’s scout team to participate in the World Scout Jamboree

    Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University, represented by The Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education is going to participate in the 24th World Scout Camp, which will be held at the Summit Bechtel National Scout in West Virginia, USA, with the theme of “Unlock a New World”. More than 45000 participants from all over the world will attend, representing more than 190 different nationalities of scout employees and organizers in this event, which is expected to be the largest World Jamboree Scout Mondial .
    Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University has stated that the participation of its students is to enhance the important academic role of the university in serving society, achieving Saudi Vision 2030, supporting women empowerment and to represent positivity locally and globally. In addition, this comes in line with achieving the university’s strategic goals by enhancing the university’s presence internationally as well. It’s worth mentioning that this is the first Saudi-female scout team participating in the World Scout Jamboree in cooperation with the Saudi Arabian Boy Scout Association and Alwaleed Philanthropies Organization.
    The World Scout Jamboree is considered a significant educational event that reinforce the concepts of volunteerism, peace and leadership development in addition to life skills through their work in the international support team at the World Scout Camp. Also to be able to participate in various educational and volunteer activities that build expertise, personal development, mutual respect between generations and cultures as well as activating participation in society to achieve sustainable development objectives.
