“The ranking for Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) is not a destination. It is a journey,” said Dr H. Vinod Bhat, Vice-Chancellor, MAHE. The constant improvement made by the university in rankings not only illustrates the institution’s progress but also showcases the segments in which the university has outperformed others.
MAHE is now in the top one to two percentile of all universities globally; and this is the result of the great efforts put in by the university as a whole in the last seven or eight years. “It is a healthy competition among universities,” highlighted Dr. Baht.
Sandeep Shenoy, Director Quality and Compliance, MAHE added that the university managed to move up two positions, ranking at #198 in the QS Asian University Rankings 2018; while in the domestic ranking, the university clinched #16 overall, and #3 among private universities.
