KPI professor wins prize for his research

Yuri Gordienko, Professor at the Department of Computing Engineering of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (KPI) and Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, received an international award at the Optica Laser Congress and Exhibition 2026 in Vilnius for his research paper “Surface Morphology of Micro-Optical 3D Structures Manufactured by Digital Light Processing and Masked Stereolithography”.

This prize is awarded to researchers from emerging economies for highly scored presentations. Professor Gordienko’s name has been featured on the official congress prizes webpage.

Research at the intersection of micro-optics and 3D printing technologies is another area in which Kyiv Polytechnic’s achievements in science are highly recognised by a global professional community.

Huge congratulations to Yuri Gordienko on his special international recognition, with best wishes for his further accomplishments.
