ITS Student Wins Brio Virtual Modification Event

Muhammad Haekal Shafi, an ITS student has won the Honda Brio Virtual Modification (V-Mod) #3 contest. The online competition was held by PT Honda Prospect Motor in collaboration with the National Modificator and Aftermarket Association (NMAA).

The event was followed by participants from 43 cities in Indonesia. The Honda Brio Virtual Modification brought the title “Racing Garage” for the competition, calling all creative people who are feeling enthusiastic about crafting at home.

Muhammad Haekal Shafi, a student of the Department of Mechanical Engineering ITS as the winner of the competition presented the “Drifting Touch” as the concept. He was able to compete with the other 789 design works. Haikal spent two weeks finishing the design. Using the template design provided by the organizer, he created the design by combining the body kit design, rear-view mirror, spoiler, rim, and tire according to the drifting theme.

The judges recognized that the design is very good in detail. The combination of colors among the body kit, the interior, and the fitting were matched with the theme. Last but not least, Haikal hopes that this achievement can motivate other ITS students to actively involved not only in scientific papers but also in other non-academic competitions.
