Don’t miss out Aircraft Universiti Putra Malaysia on your next flight!

A special aircraft livery designed by the Design and Architecture Faculty of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), featuring the university’s name, logo and Rain Tree motif, a tree found at UPM’s agricultural park is now being displayed on AirAsia’s Airbus A320-200 aircraft. It will also be the only aircraft where the special livery will be permanently displayed.

The aircraft has been manoeuvring through the sky since August before the actual launch this month, and will be used for multiple destinations in Asia.

UPM is the first local institution of higher education to take its branding to high altitude. This exceptional partnership is an outcome of the CEO Faculty programme. The programme is a collaboration between the industry and academia for both students and CEOs to share their knowledge and learn from one another.

“People is the biggest reason we have grown. We can only grow with the best people” said AirAsia Group chief executive officer, Tan Sri Tony Fernandes. Hence with the programme, it also helps ensure that the industry harnesses the best graduates who can communicate, engage and innovate.
