Graduates of a university are equipped with knowledge and practices during their studies, but their competencies are important to be tested, which is through certification. This urgency spurs President University through the President Development Center (PDC) opened a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Testing Center on Thursday, February 13, 2020, as the only testing center in Cikarang, Bekasi. The CPA Testing Center is not only available for students, but for all people who wants to be professionally certified.
In addition, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between Faculty of Business President University and the Institute of Indonesia Chartered Accountants. Maria Jacinta Arquisola, MHRM., Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Business President University and Suhartono, MPA, Ak., CPA, CA. as Chairperson of the Certification and Responsible Board of the Indonesian Institute of Certified Public Accountants representing both parties signed the agreement. The collaboration will include increasing the competency of President University students and lecturers in the fields of accounting, training and certification, and other educational activities.
“CPA is the highest certification profession of public accounting in Indonesia based on competence. I want all Accounting graduates to have this certification before graduating to increase career opportunities and the credibility of our graduates,” said Andi Ina Yustina, M.Sc., CMA., Head of the Accounting Study Program at President University.
