Two staff of the Faculty of English Language Studies, Senior Lecturer Ms Yevette Mathew and Lecturer Ms Tharaya Al Jabri, presented a paper entitled “Technology in a Flipped Classroom”, at Buraimi University College’s Fifth International Conference. The conference, which took place on 4th and 5th December 2019, addressed the theme “Technology, language and literature: intersections and convergences”. The main objective of the paper was to provide teachers, researchers and educationists with an opportunity to share and discuss good practices in the area of flipped learning. The session helped to promote awareness among those present of the advantages of synthesizing language and technology.
