Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), through the Office of Research and Industry Networking, Faculty of Chemical Engineering (FKK), successfully hosted FKK Alumni Connect: Annual Meet and Teh Tarik 2025 on 8 November 2025 at UiTM Shah Alam. The programme functioned as a strategic initiative to reinforce alumni engagement with the faculty while promoting interaction among alumni, students, and academic staff within a collaborative environment.
The programme convened alumni, industry representatives, lecturers, and students through a combination of formal and informal activities, including the ChEMEA Annual General Meeting and the Teh Tarik Alumni session. A central highlight was the Alumni Pocket Talk, where selected alumni delivered focused sharing on career progression, industry practices, research experiences, and entrepreneurial initiatives. These sessions enabled students to gain practical insights into real world applications while fostering active networking and knowledge exchange within the academic community.
In addition to technical exposure, the programme emphasised professional networking, experiential learning, and alumni involvement in student development. The interactive structure facilitated constructive engagement, strengthened alumni affiliation with the faculty, and created pathways for future collaboration in research, training, and industry related initiatives. This initiative reflects FKK’s commitment to developing a sustainable and inclusive alumni ecosystem that supports academic excellence and graduate readiness.
