Big Data Scientist, Abel Sanchez, a scientist and professor at MIT gave a speech at TEDxNatick, sharing about the much needed changes within the global higher education environment today.
The current higher education system does not seem to have differed much from a thousand years ago when higher education was first offered as a place where people could go and learn. However, a thousand years later, with the emergence of the Internet and the launch of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC), the need for an actual college education has been questioned.
