The Faculty of Business and Management (FBM), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia, and the Faculty of Economics and Business Education (FPEB), Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI), Indonesia will be soon signing a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) that aims to target collaborative research via a research matching grant scheme (RMGS).
By bringing together the best minds from the two institutions, two research projects will be conducted at the initial stage. One research team will be led by the principal researcher from FPEB UPI for a research project on entrepreneurship, while the other team will be led by the principal researcher from FBM UiTM for research on logistics and supply chain management.
This initiative involves a contribution of MYR 8,000 from both faculties to fund the research activities. In addition to this, publication in high impact journals is also targeted.
The collaboration is a manifestation of a professional and strong relationship between the two institutions that are consistently looking for ways to build and develop beneficial programs for their stakeholders.
More collaboration and linkages in other collaborative activities such as student and staff exchanges, teaching and learning activities as well as community services are in the pipe-line for both institutions in their bid to move forward in the new norm.
