President University inaugurated President University Timorese Student Association (PUTSA) on Saturday, May 25, 2019, at D’Khayangan Jababeka. The inauguration was attended by Hitu de Jesus, Diplomat from Timor Leste Embassy. On that occasion, they also celebrated the independence day of Timor Leste.
Fabio S. F. Guterres (Electrical Engineering 2017), the president of PUTSA mentioned that PUTSA was established to promote students engagement, learning, and leadership skills through several programs and activities. He plans to enrich the cooperation with other organization at President University. Further, he wants to introduce Timor Leste and its culture to all people. He hopes that the presence of PUTSA can strengthen the unity between Timorese and other students at President University.
