Thammasat University announced that the Office of University Service and Administrative Support has earned ISO 9001:2015 certification for Quality Management System (QMS) proving that the office can systematically provide service for everyone.
Assoc.Prof.Gasinee Witoonchart, Rector of Thammasat University presided over the certificate ceremony of the certification. Mr.Montree Tangtermsirikul, General Manager at SGS (Thailand) Limited, the world’s leading inspection, verification, testing, and certification company, was present during the ceremony on August 27, 2020, at Thammasat University Rangsit campus.
Assoc.Prof.Gasinee congratulated the office of University Service and Administrative Support as well as the office of Information and Communication Technology saying that this is a really grateful event and thanks to them working and adapting together to accomplish the goal set by the office and earned the certification, which is a very grateful opportunity.
The Office of University Service and Administrative Support is mainly responsible for maintaining the tasks, which is a very important role behind every vision and strategy of the university. Every department in the organization is striving for maximum users’ satisfaction rates. The ISO 9001:2015 certification is the accreditation of the quality and standards of the office, which suits the office’s vision: “The model university supporting office with excellence standard and innovations,” Assoc.Prof.Gasinee added.
Assoc.Prof.Dr.Danupun Visuwan, Vice-Rector for Planning and Quality Development said that the Office of University Service and Administrative Support will continue keeping the standard up as well as developing both the internal and external service. By developing the service, the office is keeping up with the vision, supporting every department and office to provide an excellent service with the international standard like they have always done so.
The ISO 9001:2015 certification shows that the Office of University Service and Administrative Support and Office of Information and Communication Technology has a very organized management system and high users’ satisfaction rates. Besides the office’s vision, it also works under the quality policy of “committing to serve every organization in the university as well as partner up with internal and external organizations under the rightfully, timely, and notably manner for the benefits of the university, users, and general public,” said Assoc.Prof.Dr.Danupun.
