    Thammasat University’s Food Science Research Project Wins a Commercial Product Award

    Thammasat University has won the Commercial Product Award for the research project  “The Development of Recipe and Production Process for Healthy Salmon Chili Paste”.

    Asst.Prof.Dr.Krittiya Khuenpet, a professor from Food Science and Technology, is the leader of this award winning sub-research project. The research team received the problem from Innovative House to develop the recipe, production process, and to study the market probability in order to upscale the entrepreneur, P.P.N. Foods Co.Ltd (Namprik Minii Rungcharoen).

    This research has created knowledge for the commercial with the cooperation of Food Safety team and marketing team under the support from “Research Support Project to Improve the Capacity of Small and Medium Entrepreneurs in the Food Industry and other Related Industries” by Thailand Science Research and Innovation (TSRI), the Innovation and Technology Assistance Program (ITAP), and the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA).

    “The Lucrative and Realistic Research” is the result of the four universities’ cooperation which are Thammasat University, Rajamangala Institute of Technology, Phitsanulok, Kasetsart University, and Chulalongkorn University with these entrepreneurs.
