Thammasat Business School Ranks Top in Asia for ROI in the QS Global MBA Rankings 2021

Featuring over 250 business schools, this year’s Global MBA rankings provides a comprehensive list of the best places to study an MBA. While studying a Global MBA program continues to be a significant investment in this time of global uncertainty, the skills students gain and the potential return on investment (ROI) makes the MBA as relevant now as it has ever been.

Thammasat Business School of Thammasat University is ranked as the no.1 business school in Asia for “Return on Investment”, according to the QS World University Rankings: Global MBA Rankings 2021. Overall, TBS was ranked at 16 in the top Global MBA programs in Asia.

The Global MBA Rankings 2021 highlight the best MBA programs across the world. 258 programs were ranked this year from 40 study destinations, and many more were analyzed. This makes QS the biggest ranking of accredited international MBA programs in the world. Data were collected in early 2020, using three surveys, including the QS Global Employer Survey, the QS Global Academic Survey and a survey completed by the business schools themselves.

Programs are ranked on five areas: employability, entrepreneurship and alumni outcomes, return on investment (ROI), thought leadership, and class & faculty diversity. For ROI, QS mapped average post-MBA salaries against average salaries before enrolment over ten years and also looked at the length of time it took for students to pay back their study costs.

To be included in the Global MBA Rankings 2021, the program must be taught mainly on-campus (i.e. not distance-learning), be taught full-time (or be full-time equivalent) and have an average class size of at least 15 students. All schools must be accredited by either AACSB, AMBA, or EFMD (EQUIS). Thammasat Business School was invited to join the Global MBA Rankings 2021 and it is the only business school in Thailand which has received the “Triple-Crown” of accreditations from all 3 world accreditation organizations.
