Team spirit at Al Ghurair University, Dubai –    Scholarly publications

Al Ghurair University , Dubai  a reputed University in the United Arab Emirates achieved public acclaim  in the academic year 2016 -2017.  Faculty from the Department of Foundation and General Studies wrote a book entitled, Composition and Writing Skills to assist students in their quest for academic excellence.   The published book provides a complete overview of the various stages of writing. In addition, it focuses on rhetorical strategies, guidelines and techniques to improve the writing skills of learners.   The instructors are noted for their team spirit and had succeeded in getting another book published in the year 2012. This one was entitled A guide to technical writing skills.  Encouraged and supported by Dr. Shadi Hijazi, the Head – Department of Foundation and General Studies,   this team of faculty are bound to reach greater heights.
