Students of Construction Engineering department at Yessenov University will be doing internship in Aktau branch of Witteveen+Boss. Earlier the head of the Engineering faculty Dzumagazieyeva Sh.K together with the head of Construction engineering department, Baisarova G.G and teacher of Construction engineering department, Ilyassova A.K. had a meeting with Stefan Slot, the project manager of Witteven+Boss. The main purpose of the meeting was to look for the ways of cooperating, where engineering and consultancy firm Witteveen+Boss could help students of Yessenov University to know and practice the modern techniques in designing and engineering.
On 5 April, 2019 Construction engineering department organized a meeting with the faculty students and managers of Witteveen+Boss where students were acquainted with the role of the film as well as the latest technologies using in design construction. The main question which interest student was the newest techniques and software applied in construction industry. Managers from Witteveen+Boss represented by B.Abdel Hamid, Stefan Slot and Askar Tenizbayev informed the participants of the meeting with the widely used programs like Civil 3d, Revit and Navisworks, which is newest solution for a comprehensive examination of architectural, construction and engineering projects that allows to fully control the results. As both sides agreed earlier, students of «Construction» specialty will be practicing at Aktau branch of Witteveen+Boss, where they will practice with Building Information Modelling (BIM) technologies. In near future Witteveen+Boss is also planning to give more trainings not just for students but also for teaching staff of the University, to familiarize them with the latest methods using in design and construction production.
As Yessenov University is planning to launch Engineering center in near future, doing internship in BIM technologies, especially at Witteveen+Boss will be indispensable experience for our students. We hope that in coming years together with Witteveen+Boss we can organize more trainings and master classes for all interested learners who would like to keep up with new knowledge and methodologies used in construction, architecture and engineering.
