La Trobe University (LTU) has recently celebrated its second class of graduates from PSB Academy, Singapore. These graduates have topped the cohorts in Singapore and outperformed home campus students in Melbourne, Victoria. They continue to rank among the top 5 percent of students in range of subjects from the university’s Bachelor of Biomedical Science and Bachelor of Science (Pharmaceutical Science) programmes.
In 2015, the Excellence in Research for Australia has classified LTU as Australia’s joint best university for research in Biological Sciences. These specialised science courses are established with the goal of producing a strong pool of talent who can be instrumental in the development of Asia’s Science, Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) clusters.
