    Millennials in the Middle East are driving innovation

    Millennials have also brought these skills and expertise into businesses and entrepreneurial projects, successfully contributing to almost every industry in the Middle East.

    In the Middle East, millennials are becoming the drivers of innovation, creativity and economic growth. 76% of millennials in MENA felt that even though multinational businesses in the Middle East have a significant influence on the wider society, they have yet to reach their full potential in relieving vital issues encountered by the society.

    A survey carried out on the millennials in the Middle East and North Africa showed that 91% are comfortable working with older generations, while 78% are willing to part with their personal life for the sake of career advancements. In addition, there is a rise in Arab millennials taking on leadership roles with an increase in employers in search to hire those under the age of 35. The Middle East is said to have a distinguished number of entrepreneurs in the world with an astounding 63 percent of business owners looking to hire employees belonging to the millennial generation.

    Social media is one of the influencing factors for innovation and the millennials are more engaged with social media as compared to the previous generations. They have managed to tap onto social media to convey their intended messages and reach a wider audience. Millennials have also brought these skills and expertise into businesses and entrepreneurial projects, successfully contributing to almost every industry in the Middle East.

    Creativity and innovation are two components to a thriving business, and with the significant addition from the millennials of the Middle East, the future of the economy is set to have a positive outlook.
