    Web 2.0 and Classroom Research: What Path Should We Take Now?

    There have been notable changes in the nature of the Web and conceptualisation of classrooms. The transformation has influenced the framework of learning and instruction, and future research directions.

    This paper places emphasis on two fundamental themes (1) learner participation and creativity (2) online identity formation. There is need for a stronger research focus on students’ daily use of Web 2.0 technologies and their learning with Web 2.0 both inside and outside of classrooms.
