Co-edited by Dr Alex He Jingwei, Associate Professor at the Department of Asian and Policy Studies of The Education University of Hong Kong, Journal of Asian Public Policy (JAPP) was recently promoted to the Social Science Citation Index (SSCI) of the Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics) for its continued excellent performance in academic rigor and research impact.
The Journal was admitted to the Area Studies category and will receive its first impact factor in June 2021. Its SSCI coverage started in the 2018 issues.
JAPP is a prominent academic journal for the international public policy research community. Published by Routledge of the Taylor and Francis Group in London, one of the world’s leading publishers of social science journals, JAPP receives hundreds of submissions from all continents on topics related to Asia. Its rising reputation has been recognized by the Web of Science, which included it into the Emerging Sources Citation Index in 2017, and it is now indexed in the SSCI.
Dr He has served as Associate Editor since 2014 and will work closely with the editorial team to bring the Journal to new heights.
