The journal The Internet and Higher Education, co-edited by Professor Lim Cher Ping, Chair Professor of Learning Technologies and Innovation, The Education University of Hong Kong, has been ranked first in e-learning in the latest SCImago Journal Rankings, and second in education in CiteScore.
This interdisciplinary journal focuses on contemporary issues and developments related to online learning and teaching in post-secondary settings.
Since Professor Lim became the Associate Editor in 2013 and Editor-in-Chief in 2015, the journal’s ranking in the education category has jumped from 25th to second in just seven years.
The journal also performed impressively in the 2020 Journal Citation Reports, released by Clarivate Analytics, a resourceful tool for evaluating and comparing science and social science journals using citation data drawn from scholarly journals. It was ranked third in the education and educational research category with an impact factor of 6.566.
