The Research and Innovation Unit of Faculty of Business and Management (FBM) spearheaded by Dr. Norshima Humaidi, Deputy Dean Research & Innovation formulated a Mentor – Protégé programme to enhance collaborative approach in assisting and advising junior lecturers in publications. The main aim of this initiative is to enhance publications of faculty members.
Basically, faculty members were grouped into small teams and each team was headed by an avid researcher. This Mentor – Protégé Programme, is hoped to be a sustainable platform to motivate & assist lecturers to become prolific writers.
To date one writing workshop were conducted by each four academic departments of FBM in March and April 2019.
The appointed mentors are, Associate Prof. Dr. Erne Suzila Kassim (Technology and Supply Chain Management Studies Department), Associate Prof. Dr. Abdul Kadir Othman (Entrepreneurship and Marketing Department), Associate Prof. Dr. Veera Kaliani Sundram (International Business and Management Studies), and Prof. Dr. Catherine Ho Soke Fun (Economics and Financial Studies).
