    Developing Human Resources in the Digital Transformation and Innovation for Academic and Business Sectors

    Thammasat University partners with Krungthai Bank and signs MOU in order to support and develop human resources in terms of innovation.

    Thammasat University cooperates with Krungthai Bank. Assoc. Prof. Gasinee Witoonchart, President of Thammasat University, Dr. Pravit Khemasunan, Dean of the College of Innovation, and Mr. Payong Srivanich, President of Krungthai Bank sign MOU on 14 August 2019 at Krungthai bank (head office).  The Memorandum of Agreement was made with the intention to support and develop human resources in digital innovation through Krungthai –CITU Digital Co-Creation Initiative project. Digital transformation and innovation major from The College of Innovation is a big part of the project.

    Assoc. Prof. Gasinee Witoonchart, President of Thammasat University, states that Thammasat University has a mission to build and develop graduates, research, and high technology and innovation to conform to Thailand 4.0. Thus, all sectors have an important role to comply and support this national policy. Krungthai bank is a leading company in financial, banking and digital transformation. Therefore, it is a great beginning to work with KrungThai bank in order to enhance young people’s digital skills for our nation’s benefit.

    This cooperation was initiated to support and develop digital transformation and innovation which are useful in academic and business usage. It promotes knowledge exchanges including digital knowledge and other fields that can be integrated. Moreover, students get a chance to do an internship or create digital transformation and innovation project with Krungthai Innovation Lab team under the provision of TU’s professors and Krungthai’s specialists.
