We are delighted that our beloved Faculty of Business and Management (FBM), UiTM was announced as the winner of ASEAN Risk Awards (ARA) 2018 under the category of Risk Educator, organized by ERMA on 6th December 2018. The judges were from Japan; the United Kingdom; France; Australia; Switzerland; New Zealand; Canada; and Indonesia. The finalists under the risk educator category were from the Philippines, Vietnam and Malaysia.
ASEAN Risk Awards (ARA) is the first ever risk award held for ASEAN nations that aims to share risk management success stories. The Enterprise Risk Management Academy (ERMA) hosted this prestigious event. This was a good platform for organizations across the South East Asia to showcase their Risk Management achievements in terms of leadership and innovation. There were 110 participants from 6 ASEAN countries competing under 8 award categories, namely:

- GRC Awards
- Risk Innovation
- Risk Tech
- Public Initiative
- Public Risk
- Risk Educator
- Risk Manager of the year
