    American University in the Emirates’ College of Business Administration attains International Accreditation from CIMA

    American University in the Emirates (AUE) signs Memorandum of Understanding with Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) in order to graduate market-ready students in the field of Accounting, Finance and Business. CIMA has now partnered with AICPA (American Institute of CPAs) and the product is the CGMA certification (Chartered Global Management Accountant).

    The College of Business Administration (COBA) boasts of eight specializations at the undergraduate level, and two Master Degree Programs, MBA (Masters of Business Administration) and MSM (Master of Sports Management).

    COBA Curriculum at AUE received accreditation by CIMA resulting in COBA specializations to attain equivalency and exemptions. Five of COBA specializations namely; Accounting, Finance, Business Management, HRM and e-commerce & Marketing have attained curriculum equivalency. At the undergraduate level, Accounting Specialization attained the maximum exemptions encouraging our students to be certified by the world’s largest professional body of management accountants. Similarly, MBA Program has achieved maximum exemptions which any graduate program can achieve

    AUE is now listed on CIMA website’s “exemptions search” to inform students of the exemptions pertaining to their specialization and year of completion.
