Ajman University Featured as Case Study in Rankings Seminars Across India

Ajman University’s successful journey with QS Rankings took center stage during a three-city seminar series in India, September 3-7, 2019.

Hosted by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), in partnership with QS and I-Gauge, the seminars were designed to inspire the country’s institutions to improve their rankings and visibility. More than 70 delegates attended in each of three locations: Jaipur, Mumbai, and Ahmedabad. A total of 40 Indian universities participated.

“It’s an honor to have our journey selected as a case study for fellow institutions in India,” explains Chancellor Karim Seghir. “This is yet another great opportunity to share Ajman University’s story as a pioneering force in the region and beyond.”

Nancy Bercaw, Chief of Staff and Communications Advisor, represented AU at the seminars. She focused on the key factors leading to AU’s rise in QS rankings and global visibility: branding and storytelling; international accreditations and sponsorships; strategic partnerships and stakeholder engagement.

Founded in 1988 as the first private institution of higher education in the United Arab Emirates and the Gulf region, Ajman University is now being recognized as an emerging leader on the global academic map.
