“[…] Honestly, medical school and residency did not prepare me for the business of medicine. I can diagnose and treat diseases; no problem. […] There are office policies and procedures that just didn’t make sense to me. Insurance policies with different formularies and benefits, office personnel that just didn’t know what they were doing. It ultimately made my workday a nightmare,” said Dr. Christi Hay.
Instead of following a traditional medical model, Dr. Christi Hay created her own pediatric practice, Palisades Pediatrics, that brings about a pleasant experience for both parties. With he own practice, she can now visit each of her patients at their homes and give more personal attention to these families.
