Malaysia – Management and Science University (MSU) adds a new accolade to its growing list. The 2016 award of Best in Education for Leadership and Human Capital Development by the Asia Pacific Brands Foundation honours the university for excellent corporate branding in leadership and human capital development. The award was presented to MSU president, Professor Tan Sri Dato’ Wira Dr Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid, at a May ceremony of the BrandLaureate Elite of Elites Brand Leadership Award 2016–2017 in Kuala Lumpur.

“Best in Education for Leadership and Human Capital Development” is the latest in a series of recent recognitions to the award-winning university. Earlier on, MSU opened 2017 with 5 Stars from QS Stars Rating for excellence in teaching, facilities, graduate employability, social responsibility, and inclusiveness. The university went on to win the Most Entrepreneurial Private University 2016 title at the MEA Award by Malaysia’s Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE). Also, MSU has twice been recognised by MoHE as a Tier-5 Excellent Status University.

International recognitions besides the QS 5 Stars have come from the UK’s Accreditation Service for International Schools, Colleges and Universities (ASIC) as well as from Japan’s Alliance on Business Education and Scholarship (ABEST-21). Accorded Premier University Status by ASIC, Management and Science University is also proudly the first non-Japanese university accredited by ABEST-21.
